Idk if henry will ever see this, but i know a lot of racing greyhounds were abandoned in Florida and other states (im from canada and dont know all the specifics, just that my local shelter who specializes in greyhounds was preparing for an influx from Florida) because tracks were supposed to shut down in 2021. Covid ended the season early this year and a lot were abandoned early because theres not enough season left to make them 'worth it'.
