as someone who had a parent who was away for work a few weeks and then home for a couple of weeks, you get so used to your schedule without them that when they are home they are almost in the way😂

So I am divorced and a therapist told me that it was bad we never fought. My current bf of 19 years also do no fight. I fight I feel like I’m gonna lose a person.

What a beautiful discussion between you and your parents, my parents have also been married 30 years so it's refreshing to see another long marriage. I will be married 4 years this year and I agree with your parents that going apart is never an option. My husband and I have our moments (raising our son who is now 1 y/o) but at the end of the day we try to remember and reconnect because you know what, at the end of this life the last thing you want to be is alone. Love and family is everything ❤
